Founded in 2014, Dynamique Arts aims to build a fun yet professional environment for people interested in Musical Theatre to create and perform together. Our first production was an ambitious staging of 'Hairspray', a Broadway musical with songs by Marc Shaiman and Scott Whittman. The show was a huge success and sold out every performance. Then, the team behind this resounding hit returned to bring another sold out show; the classic story of 'Grease', to the stage in February 2015. Now bigger and better than ever, we embarked on a new production of the Jukebox hit 'Back to the 80's' as well as opening a youth theatre company called 'The Dynamites' who performed Disney's 'Aladdin JR' to packed houses. Since then, the Dynamites have performed Alice in Wonderland JR and High School Musical JR. They will take to the stage for a spectacular concert 'Dynamites Live!' in September 2017. Meanwhile, our adults section continued to thrive. 2016 saw sell out productions of 'The Addams Family' and 'Legally Blonde' and we have just completed an acclaimed production of 'Spring Awakening'. Last Christmas will see our youth and adults came together to present 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'- our first ever pantomime!

 

We are always happy to welcome new members who are hard working and driven, and we are now welcoming those aged 6-16 to take part in the Dynamites as well as members for our adults section.
